Frederic’s crown jewel is Coon Lake, a 54 acre lake, with undeveloped public shoreline, nestled next to 80 acres of community hardwood forest.
Within Frederic there are also seven community and neighborhood parks that are available for family outings, special events or just peaceful afternoon picnics.
